This watch is driven by a Miyota /Citizen Automatic self-wind movement. Designed for accuracy, dependability, and longevity; the movement runs at 21,600 or 6 beats per second (3 Hz).This is evident with the relatively smooth sweep of the second hand when comparing with slower beating movements. The screw-down crown ensures water-resistance by sealing the crown to the case of the watch. In order to adjust the date and/or time, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click position. Rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. Crown must then be pushed and screwed back in tightly. In addition, it has a stainless steel screw down exhibition case back, which gives it the distinct look and feel this diver so rightfully deserves.
