BulletPoint3 : Our roving is obtained from both Australia and South America and is carefully selected to ensure consistent quality.
BulletPoint4 : Included in this package are 5 different shades or colors of merino wool roving. Each piece/color weighs 50 grams. There is a total of 250 grams of roving, plus/minus 3% in this package.
BulletPoint5 : 19 micron merino wool is super soft and super fine. The lower the number of microns in roving, the softer the fibers are. This is some of the finest wool roving on the market.
BulletPoint6 : Each 50 gram piece is approximately 2 yards long in one continuous ribbon length. For tapestry weaving, the length is often split down the middle. If this is done, then each 50 gm piece would yield approximately 4 yards in total.
BulletPoint7 : The wool is obtained ethically and is Mulesing-free. The fiber staple length is 58-60 mm (approx 2.35 inches).

The wool is obtained from the sheep ethically and without mulesing. The wool roving is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly. The dyes comply with Oeko Tex Standard 100 parameters and are dyed in-house in the dyeing plant in Italy which is GOTS certified. These extra fine merino wool tops are perfect for needle felting, wet felting, spinning, hand weaving, arm weaving and tapestry weaving. The roving will be package in an airtight bag and should be allowed to expand before using.
