ProductDescription : The Purion Water Conditioner is made with a 304 Stainless Steel pipe nipple surrounded by an aluminum housing that is fitted with powerful magnets which penetrate the water as it flows through. 304 Stainless Steel is "invisible' to a magnetic field and allows the magnetic field to penetrate to the center of the stainless pipe.

Installation of the Purion Water Conditioner should be at the incoming water line to the home or facility. This unit "ionizes" or polarizes particles suspended in the water so that they tend to break apart rather than clump together and attach themselves and the water acts more like soft water. This is NOT a filter as it does not remove anything from the water.

Depending upon how far your hot water heater is away from this installation, you may want to think about installing one on the outlet of the hot water heater as well since the water inside may possibly be sitting for quite some time prior to use. Water tends to revert back to its "natural" state or state of equilibrium if idle for too long after being treated magnetically.

No Salt and no chemicals are required with this type of magnetic treatment so you are not damaging the environment. The magnetic field will last indefinitely, which we guarantee, but we do not guarantee any damage to the unit itself due to improper installation, dropping or any other type of misuse.
