This scale, taste, and odor reduction cartridge contains MDB-80 mixed bed media, which is a high capacity weak acid ion exchange resin with GAC. This resin reduces calcium and magnesium and in combination with Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), removed chlorine to improve taste and odor.
