ProductDescription : Flow Restrictors, also known as Flow Controls or Capillaries are an essential component of all Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filter Systems. Flow Restrictors must be properly sized to match and maintain a desired ratio of brine flow (drain) to permeate flow (filtered water) that is unique to the membrane flow capacity. It is recommended to replace the Flow Restrictor each time you change the reverse osmosis membrane to keep the water filter system operating at maximum efficiency. These flow restrictors are larger 3/8" quick connect types used in light commercial RO systems and will not fit standard undersink RO units. It is recommended to install Booster Pumps to increase the efficiency of your ro system.
