Perfectly Aligned for Inside and Outside Measurements

The dual-function locking nut not only secures the adjustable jaw in place but also squares it perfectly to the blade, eliminating any slip or wiggle when transferring dimensions. Additionally, the fixed jaw locks precisely at zero, allowing you to slide the adjustable jaw out of the way and use BigCal as a T-square when needed.

Accurate, Easy-to-Read Scales and Depth Gauge

BigCal features scales engraved in both 1/32" and 1mm increments, eliminating the need for complicated dials or confusing fractions. Turn the caliper over to find a reverse scale, which is perfect for measuring the depth of a mortise or groove. To make transferring measurements even easier, BigCal includes a scribing notch on the end of the blade, allowing you to mark dimensions directly onto your workpiece.
