Belts can be made to accommodate any length, which makes them ideal for emergency repairs and replacements. Once assembled, Accu-Link V-belts install in a fraction of the time needed for endless rubber belts. Accu-Link V-belts install in minutes without removing outboard bearings or moving motors. Ideal for Diverse Operating Environments Accu-Link V-belt urethane construction offers superior resistance to most common industrial solvents and chemicals, oil, water and temperature extremes, from - 40F to 240F. Accu-Link V-belts actually dissipate heat so they run cooler than conventional belts. Suited to harsh environments, Accu-Link V-belts are ideal for the metal processing, machine tool, agricultural, packaging, coal and aggregate, pulp and paper, lumber, marine, air moving, petrochemical, conveying and food industries. Accu-Link is a high-performance V-belt that reduces vibration on table saws, drill presses, and other power tools by as much as 35%. It replaces the standard 1/2" V-belt on most machines, and the length can be adjusted by removing links. Whereas traditional drive belts can stretch and become misshapen (creating vibration as they rotate), the Accu-Link belt is made up of interlocking segments of polyurethane elastomer and multiple plies of polyester fabric that retain their original shape, thereby reducing vibration. What's more, you can easily add or subtract links to get optimal tension on almost any machine! 1/2'' wide.
