 What is it? Our Fabric Protector is a reactive silicone resin that produces a durable, super-hydrophobic treatment when applied to fabric, leather, natural stone, grout, wood, even shoes!
Is it going to change the color or feeling of my interior components? It will not change the appearance of the treated substrate and will not change the texture or feel.
Why do I have to let it dry so long? Due to the curing nature of the product it will bond to the fibers of the textile and have a very durable lifespan to things like abrasion and the elements! This product bonds to the actual nap of the fiber rather than sit on top like the rest. It cures to the individual fibers without glueing them together which is an industry-first!
It’s on the inside of my car, will it smell bad? It does not produce long-lasting off-putting odors. The product itself wont cloud or separate over time.
How much does one bottle cover? One 16oz bottle of Fabric Protector can treat up to 75 square feet.
How long does it last? A less-traveled passenger floor mat will last significantly longer than the driver side that gets traffic every day. Generally speaking, 1-2 months— For extended use, apply 2 coats.
