1) The Alpaca wood cut out was designed for a school project. Unfinished wood shapes are a specialty of ours and this South American native was something we had no thought of until a customer brought it to our attention.
2) We cut with our wood shapes with a laser which allows us to make precises cuts that no other machine can match. The edges of the wood will have a light smoky residue that is easy to sand off if you are going to leave the product natural. If you are going to paint any of our unfinished wood cutouts, we recommend painting them with a high quality craft paint. Paint over the residue without sanding, the craft paint will adhere without any issues.
