ProductDescription : The Sea & Sea Sea Arm 8 SLR Set is a modular, highly adjustable system for connecting an external strobe to an underwater housing for a DSLR camera. As its base the SA8 SLR features the SA8 Slide Ball Base, which connects to a bracket shoe on a Sea & Sea housing grip. Extending upward from here are two SA8 Double Ball Arms one medium (8.8") and one small (5.6") and three ball clamps that connect the components. The clamps loosen and tighten to enable the articulation of the two-section arm. Topping off the SLR Set is an SA8 Strobe Head - Small, which is used to mount a YS series strobe from Sea & Sea. The system is modular for instance, which arm segment claims the top spot is up to you and ball joints make the connections adjustable. Meticulously machined from a solid aluminum block, the Sea Arm 8 system is highly rigid and at the same time extremely lightweight. This configuration weighs only a shade over 1 lb.
