2) Concrete donuts or sprinkler donuts as they are known as here in FL have been around for many years. As a lawn care professional, I've had many years of dealing with concrete sprinkler donuts. The product reviews left for this type of product can be misleading. Most product reviews are left soon after receiving the product, sometimes before even being used. All similar products look great when first insitalled. However, it takes a growing season to realize how well the product really works.
3) My professional experience with concrete donuts is that they often break or they quickly disappear because they sink into the ground after installing. Usually within 6 months, concrete donuts completely disappear within the lawn if not maintained routinely..
4) Concrete donuts and other plastic sprinkler donuts found on the market are easier to initially install than Sprinkler Buddy. You should also know they require far more maitenance throughout the year to keep them visible/working as they should.
5) A sprinkler head wrench or sprinkler head removal tool can make removing the sprinkler heads easier for some. Cut off risers may be needed when reinstalling the sprinkler head if they have lowered too deep in the ground over time. Looking for a quality sprinkler head trimmer, I recomend the Kenyon brand. Have your sprinkler head adjustment tool or sprinkler head key handy to adjust the sprinkler heads to the desired spray pattern once installed.
