How to Use
1.Place the applicator on a completely flat test surface. Adjust the scraper to the required clearance of twice the wet film thickness.
2.Pour a small amount of the test sample between the front section of the scraper and the end plate. Move the instrument on the surface at a slow and uniform speed (approximately 1-2cm/s) until the sample has been fully coated and/or all remaining liquid has been removed from the end of the coating path.
3.The actual wet film applied should be measured using a wet film thickness gauge and the gap adjusted until the desired wet film thickness is achieved.

Notes
1.Occasionally, the differential head needs to be repositioned to correct errors caused by wear or misalignment (achieved by loosening, not removing, the two hidden fixing screws on each differential).
2.The exact proportion of wet film thickness relative to any scraper clearance depends on the material used, the viscosity and texture of the liquid, the force applied to the scraper, the coating speed, and the geometric shape of the coating edge.
3.After each use, please clean the instrument immediately with an appropriate solvent (not included).
4.The ends of the scraper move through the groove, which must remain free of the test sample material at all times.
5.Please allow the slight color difference caused by the shooting light and 1-3cm error due to manual measurement, and make sure you do not mind before ordering.
