Engine Alignment Bar Tool compatible with MerCruiser Sterndrives including Pre Alpha, Alpha 1 Gen 2, MR, R, all MerCruiser Bravo. Compatible with Volvo SX and OMC Cobra Drives. This Tool is similar to MerCruiser P/N 91-805475A1 which used to be P/N 91-57797A3. The length of the bar is approximately 23-5/8 inch. Compatible with Volvo SX P/N 3851083 and OMC Cobra P/N 18-4442. According to MerCruiser service bulletin No 92-9, the alignment tool must have the following sizes from front to back: 1.010" diameter, 2.200" long (section that fits into coupler), 1.150" diameter, 2.750" long, and 1.375" diameter rest of the bar (section that fits gimbal bearing inside diameter). This gimbal bearing installer is compatible with OMC Cobra, Bravo, #1 Drives made from 1966 to Current makes, including the Pre Alpha(R), Alpha 1 MR and Generation 2. MerCruiser Hinge Pin Tool (OEM 91-78310). The material is 4140 Hardened Tool Steel equivalent to Grade 8 With a minimum Rockwell hardness of C33 and minimum tensile strength of 150,000 psi. This special tool is used on the hinge pin bolt and separates the housing from the gimbal ring. This tool is compatible with MerCruiser Bravo One, Bravo Two, Bravo Three, R, MP, MC-1, Alpha One, Alpha One Generation Two.
