ProductDescription : Using Metallic Pearl Powder Pigments in Epoxy: Most use metallic pigments in their epoxy as the mid coat (second coat). Your metallic pigments should be mixed with clear epoxy and placed on an epoxy tinted base coat. Typically, people use black for that base coat. If you're just using the metallic powder pigments in a clear coat be prepared to put your coating on much thicker in order to cover and achieve the color you are wanting to achieve. One 4oz container is meant to pigment 1 gallon of 100% solids epoxy and will get you around 100 square feet of coverage.
