The Japanese use it a lot in tea bowls.Jianzhan wares are from Jianyang town in Fujian Province. They became popular during the Song Dynasty and were prized throughout China, Korea and Japan. By the Ming Dynasty Jianzhan wares fell out of favor, but luckily the tradition was continued in Japan for centuries and was eventually re-introduced in it's original birthplace (Jianyang Fujian) in the 1990's. Jianzhan glazes are all basically the same, but due to different firing temperatures and positioning within the kiln, the fired glazes are totally unique from each other and are typically separated into five distinct styles: rainbow, rabbit fur, oil spot, tortoise shell, and partridge feathers. As the present time, Jianzhan ware is also valuable. On May 23, 2011, the kiln building and firing technology was included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage. In Sep.2017 BRICS Meeting, Jianzhan were given as national gifts to the leaders of countries attending the meeting.< /b > < br >< br >< b > WHY JIANZHAN WARES ARE SELLING AT A HIGH PRICE?< /b > < br >< br >< b > 1.OWN A MASTER PIECE IN TEAWARE INDUSTRY < br >< b >< br > 2.IMPROVE THE TASTE< /b > < br >< br >< b > 3.IDEA FOR DECORATION AND COLLECTION< /b > < br >< br >< b > ProductSiteLaunchDate : 2003-05-05T00:00:00-00:00 RecommendedUsesForProduct : Home Reusability : Reusable Size : 10 oz SpecificUsesForProduct : Hot Drinks, Cold Drinks, Travel Style : Modern SupplierDeclaredDgHzRegulation : unknown SupplierDeclaredHasProductIdentifierExemption : 1 Theme : Love UnitCount : 1 UnspscCode : 52152100 VolumeCapacityName : 400 milliliters
