ProductDescription : This empty syringe is only used for extruding. Steps for use: 1. Submerge syringe in water and pull up plunger, filling it with water. 2. Press down the plunger to remove the majority of the water. There should be some residual moisture that will help in the extruding process. 3. Remove the Art Clay from the package and quickly knead it into a rough snake-shape with your fingertips. 4. Remove the plunger from the syringe and insert the clay. 5. Re-insert the plunger and slowly press down to compress the clay towards the tip. 6. Insert a toothpick or straightened paper clip into the tip of the syringe while pressing down on the plunger to eliminate the air pocket that can occur. You should hear a little pop when you hit the pocket. 7. You should now be ready to extrude a snake. Important Tips for Success: It may take a bit of force to extrude the clay. You may wish to rest the plunger on the end of a table and push down on the chamber to extrude the clay.
