How To Use: Place the sample on the circular , loosen the handle on the cross arm, adjust the height of the cross arm until the bottom of the presser foot is about 5 mm from the measured of the sample, and tighten the cross arm to lock the handle. Press down on the handle to make the hardness tester press down under the of the constant load weight. When the presser foot and the sample are in full with each other within 1 second, the value displayed by the hardness tester is the hardness value of the tested sample. In order to improve the accuracy of the test, take the average of 5 measurements at different positions with a distance of at least 6mm between the measuring points.
Note: The various movable parts of the test frame should be filled with lubricating oil frequently. After the test, the instrument should be wiped to prevent , and a small amount of oil should be applied.
