TCXO Chip

The media player uses an advanced, high-precision, ultra-low-noise TCXO clock. This temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) chip provides a very clean and precise clock (much more precise than the default clock) for the A/V processing circuits in the media player. The chip is powered by a dedicated low-noise circuit, which helps to further reduce jitter and noise at all A/V outputs, bringing the resulting audio and video quality to the highest level.

Hi-Fi digital output and XMOS chip

For hi-fi audio fans, the media player provides dedicated hi-fi digital audio outputs (coaxial S/PDIF and I2S-E) based on an XMOS chip. The XMOS chip provides additional isolation of the generated audio signal from other components of the media player, resulting in an extremely clean, very low noise and very low jitter audio signal.

Enhanced analogue audio output

For users who prefer analogue audio, the media player has an enhanced hardware design of the analogue audio output. Full 8K video support

AV one video codec

The media player supports the new AV one video codec, which enables an improvement in video quality of up to 50% without increasing the video bit rate (or requires a bit rate that is up to 50% lower for the same video quality). This new video codec is already used by YouTube and will become increasingly important for compatibility with various video services and content sources.
