BulletPoint1 : ✅ A strap clip, or a strapping seal, is the means to fastens the strapping together. Designed with inside treads that securely grip polyester strapping, these joining method hold the strap in place under extreme tension once crimped on the strap. These Poly Ethylene Terephthalate seals work perfectly with manual strapping sealers/crimpers for packaging and shipping, an ideal solution for bundling items together or securing loads on the pallet.
BulletPoint2 : ✅ Seals for polyester strapping have a textured surface that grips the smooth surface of polyester strapping to prevent the strapping from slipping and losing tension. Secure seals using a manual strapping sealer. Polyester strapping is used to secure medium-to-large loads for storage and shipment, such as lumber and heavy pallets. These seals come with surface plated with zinc to prevent rusting to some extent.
BulletPoint3 : ✅ The strapping seal is a soft-metal connector that is used by a sealer clamp to bind two ends of a plastic strap together for enhanced joint efficiency. Once a seal is made after crimping, it is permanent and very secure. This type of metal closure is much better than the wire spring buckle type of connector.
BulletPoint4 : ✅ Open seals, the most common plastic seal, allow you to place the seal on after tensioning has occurred while closed seals must be threaded onto the strap before tensioning and they are used most frequently with round packages or bundles. An open seal is typically used with polyester strapping while a closed seal has must be put on before the tensioning operation can be performed and is typically used with steel strapping.
BulletPoint5 : ✅ Gripper seals, sometimes called serrated seals, have barbs or small thorns that grip the polyester strapping for extra strength to prevent slipping, increase tension at the joints, and ensure cargo safety. Serrated seals are made with “teeth” that actually grip the strap, yielding higher joints than traditional seals. They are secured in place using a sealer tool.
