The ocean blue LED bulb creates a blue green light for prop and scenery water effects. The 24 LED clear silicone rubber bulb uses 12 blue LEDs and 12 Green LEDs for a polychromatic light. The mixed light of the LEDs has a dominant wavelength of 486.8nm nominal toward the cyan region of the light spectrum. The ocean blue LED bulb has a 1 watt nominal power rating at 12 volts DC 100mA ref. for each bulb. These are static output light kits that produce a blue green steady light color. These kits run from 12 volts DC, battery holder assemblies are included that uses 8 AA cell batteries to produce 12 volts DC. The light cables have 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connectors, the cables are a nominal 5 feet in length. The bulbs can be powered from 12 volt DC constant voltage type power supplies. To operate this kit with the included battery holders, 8 AA batteries are needed. Batteries are not included. The silicone bulbs are of a G4 Bi-Pin style and are removable from the cable socket. The cable socket press fits into a 7/16" hole in wood or foam or other rigid prop and scenery construction material. Listing photos of the ocean blue bulb are taken a few inches over a white surface.
