ProductDescription : The Bright Tangerine Base Kit for the Canon EOS C500 Mark II provides a lightweight handheld and tripod-based support system for the camera. The base plate uses the patented Open-UP quick release system that mounts securely to any standard ARRI dovetail, even those out of tolerance, allowing you to quickly transition between camera setups e.g. e.g. Hand tripod with the left field ARRI dovetail plate or any standard ARRI dovetail. The camera can be easily positioned on the dovetail for optimal balance. Base plate has front and rear rod locks to support industry standard 15mm LWS rods. By having front and rear locks, two short sets of rods can be used to form a longer stand, making it easier to transport and pack. Also included is the top carrying handle and monitor mount for repositioning the Canon LA-V1 Monitor Mount on your camera handle or cage when using the touchscreen monitor. The sliding top plate also features a standard ARRI dovetail clamp that provides a quick release for the left field ARRI Dovetail E Platform. The plate can be used to mount the top carry handle or other mountable accessories Quickly onto the top plate and adjust for optimal balance. A 15mm LWS rod mount also mounts to the top plate for use with lens motors or other accessories such as an EVF mount. Particularly useful for drone and gimbal use.
