Since 1976, our products have helped prevent damage from snow and ice avalanches on sloped metal roofs as the inventors of the polycarbonate snow guard. This kit is intended for screw-down metal roofs connected to wood purlins. The kit includes 25 Hunter Green SnoBlox Deuce Snow Stops, 1 tube of NovaFlex Neutral Cure Clear Sealant, and 50 self-tapping 2-inch #14 screws with a neoprene washer. Check the thickness of any insulation beneath the panel to ensure that the provided 2-inch screws fully engage in the purlin. The Sealant is suitable for use on Kynar and Galvalume panels with service temperatures ranging from -40F to 400F. The application temperature ranges from 0F to 120F. Installation instructions are shown in the listing images. Snow guards should not be installed in isolated areas such as chimneys, doorways, vents, or partial roof sections.
