We understand that the proper hand positions are just as important as the length of the handle. MANPLOW designed the DX Handle so that they can be used while maintaining a preferred upright posture. The DX Handle is designed so that Short, Tall or Xtra-Tall users can maintain a preferred upright posture during use. Short, Tall or Xtra-Tall? Assemble the handle for the length that works best for you! Short- Ideal for Shovelers 5’9” or shorter. Adjust during assembly. Tall- Ideal for shovelers 5’10 to 6’2”. Adjust during Assembly. Xtra Tall- Ideal for shovelers 6’3” and taller. Extensions sold separately. The Fling/Push features the DX Handle. The DX Handle works like a single pole handle but has advantages. In addition to the Xtra-Large D Grip, the DX’s design strengthens the handle-to-blade connection provides greater strength, durability and stability to support wider blades. The DX Handle will not twist or break during regular use. The Toss features the Pistol-D Handle. The Pistol-D Handle allows you to move between four handle positions to best complete the job ahead. NO TOOLS NEEDED to operate the Lock/Release Button that secures the handle. Find the ideal combination of ergonomics and functionality to maximize performance and minimize fatigue. Pistol-D Grip Positions: Pistol Down- Great for scraping and throwing with greater control. Perfect for cleaning up behind larger equipment. Pistol Up- Comparable to the Pistol Down position. Additionally, the lower lie angle makes it ideal for carrying heavy loads and is perfect for taller people who want a better working angle. D-Grip (Left or Right)- The Xtra-Large D-Grip. These grips are great when pushing snow and provide more stability when throwing heavy, wet snow! You may find Left or Right more comfortable depending on your dominate hand. Remove the handle and the Toss can easily store in your car’s trunk! NO TOOLS NEEDED to adjust the handle position.
