The construction of this ski features a wood core, two laminates of carbon stringers and a sheet of Terrain Specific Metal which provides stability where it's needed and playfulness where its desired. Being the widest ski in the Santa Ana Collection, the 110 Free gets the least amount of metal in its construction, ultimately making it better suited to the conditions it was designed to be skied in. A generous amount of tip and tail rocker provide plenty of floatation as well as effortless maneuverability for surfing even the deepest of storms. While you can imagine how well this ski performs in softer conditions, it also can hold its own when things firm up a bit too. This is largely due to the shape and the tip and tail of the ski along with its unique rocker. You can lay these babies over on edge and really feel them grip the snow, not something that can be found very easily for a 110-millimeter wasted ski.
