ProductDescription : The POMOCA Tour Pro Climbing Skin is just as versatile as the Tour Explore backcountry skin. POMOCA made it tougher and more dependable for seasoned backcountry skiers and multi-day alpine tours. A slightly heavier mix of mohair and synthetic fibers offers greater durability as well as an all-round performance on soft and firm snow. POMOCA fine-tuned the plush for the best forward glide as well as backward grip. It glides through soft snow with ease while gripping steep, icy switchbacks equally well. A light waterproof membrane works with POMOCA’s Ever Dry 3.0 hydrophobic finish so the skin doesn’t freeze up halfway through hut-to-hut tours. Don’t expect the glue to glop up on spring tours, either. The Tour Pro Climbing Skin comes in POMOCA's Ready 2 Climb system or the Back Fix system. The Ready2Climb system comes in precut lengths to accommodate various ski sizes, and the universal tip and adjustable tail attachments are already fixed. You can trim the skin's width to fit your ski's particular dimensions in as little as 2 minutes. The Back Fix system comes with an adjustable tail attachment that is already fixed to the skin, and you can fix the tip attachment once you cut the skin's 185cm length down to your ski's length. The width is also easy to trim down to your ski's particular dimensions. This entire trimming process should take 10-15 minutes. Both systems include the POMOCA Cutter and Skin Bag.
