Editorial Review This is a Tamiya 1/700 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the aircraft carrier "Junyo" ("peregrine falcon"), a World War II era Hiyo-class aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was laid down at Nagasaki as the passenger liner Kashiwara Maru but purchased by the Japanese Navy in 1940 and converted to an aircraft carrier. Model kit features: The distinctive passenger liner bow and the 26 degree forward angled funnel integrated with the bridge island have been accurately reproduced. Smaller parts such as the main mast, anti-aircraft armament, and a full set of aircraft are also included and are rich in detail. Completed Length: 311mm
