Newbury Leathers, Craze, Double Butt

Craze is a leather with bold character that celebrates imperfection. The surface is heavily hand distressed, battered with candle wax, aniline dyes, and oils to produce a leather that looks naturally aged and lived-in from the start. Flecks of candle wax create a sepia haze over the surface that cracks and crinkles to achieve the leather's vintage look.

Like a favorite pair of jeans, leather goods made with Craze age well, taking on further character with time. Use it for wallets, bags, upholstery, book and journal covers, vintage restorations, barware, or other household goods.
