The CM-2S1PRS232 PCI Express I/O adapter provides 2 high performance 16C950-type UART compatible serial ports as well as one IEEE 1284 SPP/EPP/ECP parallel port. It is designed for PC, thin client. or server to provide instant COM port expansion via the PCI Express Bus (PCIE). The card is fully PCI Express plug and play compatible and there are no IRQ and I/O address conflict problems. The CM-2S1PRS232 provides the scalablility to quickly adapt to new PCI Express technologies. It allows you to connect serial and parallel connectivity as needed. This is a high performance PCI Express card that is a point to point, scalable serial bus architecture with speeds of 250Mbytes/sec to 4Gbytes/sec, and up to 8Gbytes/sec in the future.
