This embedder will take in your HDMI video (now up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4!) as well as your audio whether multi-channel digital optical audio (TOSLINK/SPDIF) or analog audio (3.5mm/line). It will then output the combination as a single HDMI audio/video signal to your display. There's also the option to keep the original HDMI audio instead of replacing it. This gives more options without the hassle of moving cables around; just flip a switch. Don't just send a video and hope they understand the best parts, now they can hear you tell them as they watch.
