ProductDescription : We hope that among riders who have gone out with a dropper post, few would argue with the benefits. The ability to lower your saddle height on the fly is extraordinarily useful for attacking technical sections of cross-country. The only downside is the noticeable increase in weight compared to standard seatstays, which makes the decision of whether to run one a bit more difficult for cross-country racers. Bike Yoke addresses this concern with its new Divine SL post, a featherweight dropper post designed specifically for XC and marathon racers. At just 13.58 oz (that's well under a pound), the Divine SL is right up there with the lightest posts on the market, offering 3.150 in of travel with an overall length of 15.748 in. That said, the Divine SL is unique in that it can be cut down to 11.142 in overall length if your frame and saddle height allow, dropping the weight down to 12.17 oz. Bike Yoke has won awards for the technology found in their trusted Revive post, and the Divine SL takes advantage of the consistency and reliability of that same design, albeit tweaked a bit for the shorter travel. The shorter travel means the Divine SL doesn't require manual readjustments like the Revive does, so there's no valve to bleed air out of the system because it's not needed. The other big difference with the new Divine SL is the "Tech-Climb" feature. Tech-Climb keeps the post completely locked in place in the top and bottom positions, but allows for a slight spring in the middle positions, filtering out the impact of roots and rocks when you're in the saddle on technical climbs. Please note that due to the lightweight design, Bike Yoke recommends a maximum weight of 1,499.1 lbs, including gears.
