ProductDescription : This is for the trim only! If you are recovering your seat and purchased a seat cover that does not have the trim on the bottom already attached, then you will need this piece. You will received enough for one seat. Trim to fit. It is nearly impossible to install it nicely without this trim piece. It will increase the quality and ease of your installation ten fold. Brilliant chrome finish. This trim goes on the bottom edge of the seat pan and over the cover material to hold it in place and provide a protective edge for the material. It also improves the finished look. The locking tabs under the seat pan are spaced too far apart to support a nice secure installation because it will come loose between the tabs. They do not grab the seat cover material very securely. The trim holds the seat cover between the tabs. The locking tabs bite into the trim piece to make sure it is secure and can't come loose. Installation tip: If you are in a cool climate, warming up the trim with a hair dryer or heat gun to soften it up a little will make the installation easier. You should also have some hand clamps to hold the material in place while installing the trim and remove them as you work your way around. Warning! This will not work with the OEM cover as it already as a chrome trim that is riveted to the cover and the bottom edge already has a built in lip that secures the cover to the pan.
