ProductDescription : Flap grinding discs are used to remove heavy workpieces, and are typically used for weld removal, metal polishing, metal rust removal. This product is designed with a soft body, which is particularly practical and has curved surfaces, bending and grinding. If the operator is using an 80 thickness resin fiber grinding disc, it is ideal for stainless steel and metal applications, but also works well for non-ferrous metal applications. The Type 29 bevel allows 90% of the abrasive material to come into contact with the work surface, resulting in maximum grinding surface area, making grinding easier, more efficient and faster. We use high-quality base plates to help absorb vibrations. Specific applications include: weld mixing, slag removal, deburring, edge mixing, surface treatment, and general metalworking. "Jumbo" or "high-density" flanging discs typically have a 30-60% larger grinding surface area.
