Inside mount: Inside mount requires at least 2 inches frame depth. For easier installation, usually the shade width should be at least 3/8 inch smaller than the window width. Choose the exact WINDOW INSIDE width and height to place order, we will reduce 3/8”on the window width you provided.

Outside mount: For better coverage, if there is enough space, usually the shade width should be 3" to 6" larger than the window outside width, shade height should be 5" to 10" larger than the window outside height, choose the FINAL SHADE width and height to place order, we will make NO deductions.

The hardware is attached in the package and it is good for inside mount and outside mount.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1. Measure the inside frame width at three locations-top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number as the width when ordering.
Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-left, middle and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as the height when ordering.
OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.
Step 2. Measure the outside frame height adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount height.
The overlap recommended is to allow appropriate coverage and avoid any light gaps.
