The KW4510G effectively removes dirt, rust and sediment while maintaining impressive flow rates of up to 20 gallons per minute. Each cartridge is 100% graded density polypropylene which contains three distinct micron layers. This tri-gradient innovative design provides exceptional solids holding capacity, enhances flow rate and ultimately extends cartridge life. The outer surface is rated at 75 microns - the middle layer is 25 microns - at the core is 5 microns. This allows the filter to capture large particles on the exterior and progressively finer particles towards the cartridge core. The smaller the micron rating the better the entrapment capability. Plastic end caps with gaskets ensure a positive seal.

The industry universal dimension of 4.5 inch x 10 inch makes it compatible with filter housing manufacturers such as Pentek Pentek DGD-5005, GE (GXWH35F, GXH30C, GXWH40L), Whirlpool (WHKF-DWHBB), Cuno(AP801), Sears/Kenmore(38448), Culligan(Big Blue) and Ametek (Big Blue), among others.

Water filter housing replacement o-ring compatible with GE (GE Smartwater) Filter 4.5 Inch made by KleenWater. O-ring is compatible with GE part #WSO3X10039. This o-ring will accommodate filter housings which require large diameter cartridges. These cartridges have an approximate diameter of 4.5 inches. The o-ring itself actually measures approximately 5.465 inches (inside diameter).
