This is 40 pin LCD used in Gateway NE71XXXX EG70. Gateway NE72XXXX EG70 used 30 Pin EDP connector. So make sure your laptop falls under NE71XXXX series not NE72XXXX. We had customers in past who just matched EG70 being part of model number but not actual series or pin type and ended up in buying wrong LCD. Please match your original screen's BACKLIGHT TYPE, SIZE, and RESOLUTION before you purchase this item, because some laptop models come with more than one type of screens.
