This JAXA style Watch Case-back Opener with a knurled handle is for watches with screw-on style watch case backs. Also known as a Key for Waterproof Watches. The maximum jaw opening is 33mm. It has with four types of pins: polygon, knurled, round or multi-knotched. Included is a wood storage case with latch closure. A great tool to have to open those screw-on style watch-backs to change your batteries, or do minor repairs. To use: adjust the 3 bits in the 3 slots, building a triangle of equal length and hold the watch in one the palms of your hand, or put it a watch case vise, and hold the case back opener with the other hand firmly and turn it perpendicularly on the case back counter-clockwise. Loosen the wrench before lifting off the case back. Again if the case back is tight, consult a watchmaker or professional jeweler who repairs or fixes watches.
