By covering the front of the reflector with the 10½ grid, you gain more control of a light source's beam, and transforms the 25-50½ spot hard light reflector into a no-spill narrow output, with an attractive shadow. This strong directionality can be used to add high keylight depth for fashion images and emphasize the model facial structure as well as the eyes, lips, nose, and chin. The narrow 10? spotlight glow, with more defined target area, borders of shadow falloff, virtually eliminates spill from the rest of the subject and the background. The Honeycomb Grid fits snugly in the inner rim recess of the Spot Reflector, with three spring clips. Users of Profoto monolights can appreciate the Glow advantage for flash head modifiers that deliver the quality light. The quality is unmistakable.
