It is 1 1/2″ tall with a thicker layer over the center core for more active playing. Overall, the Darkside provides enough bulk to create a stable and responsive playing experience, yet small enough for a comfortable fit in any backpack or gear bag. All of the Aurora Series accessories are interchangeable to the Darkside to build a pad to fit your needs.
