MI-310 has succeeded in cutting the transmission noise to an extremely low level via the combination of an Isolation transformer and choke coil for common-mode noise. With normal computer use such as e-mailing or surfing the internet, the high-frequency noise has no influence on the user experience. However, high-frequency noise that enters directly into the digital audio device through Ethernet is very undesirable. This influences purity in the high, which causes the space information to become blurred. The MI-310 will ensure that the sound is less smudged, making details more audible, providing a better sound stage and a black background which in turn increases the dynamics in an audio system.

The EverStar MI-310 Gigabit Ethernet data isolator provides IEEE802.3 compliant return loss and insertion loss performance while meeting the most stringent isolation requirements.

The unit is fully RoHS compliant and provides safety standards for a network connection between a medical device and an Ethernet network or non-medical device (PC/laptop or audio DAC) from dangerous leakage currents that can travel through a copper-based Ethernet network. It is installed indoor, in front of protected equipment.
