Dial Handle for Easy Water Flow Control

Dial handles serve not only as an easy and dependable way to regulate flow but also as visual indicators of the valve’s flow setting. When the dial is set parallel to the valve, it is open, and when it is perpendicular to the valve, it is closed. It’s also possible to open the ball valve partially for temporary flow restriction.

Take note that it’s not advisable to leave the trimline 2-way ball valve partially open for an extended period, especially when subjected to its maximum allowable pressure rating. The soft Teflon soft seats can become damaged, locking the ball valve in place and damaging its sealing capabilities.

PTFE (Teflon) ball valve seats are the standard nowadays. Teflon has good chemical resistance, is non-reactive, and has one of the lowest friction coefficients. It can also withstand temperatures ranging between -50°F to 450°F.
