BulletPoint5 : IMPORTANT: The umbrella valve housing MUST be secured to the air inlet tube by connecting the heater/pump unit on top of it, as shown in the photos. If the housing is not secured and left unattended, it could become dislodged by water pressure and flood the area.

Not compatible with HydroJet or HydroForce models. Compatible with both 2nd generation (egg shaped) and 3rd generation (square shaped) heater/pump units.

Note: OEM designed the umbrella valve to reduce the flow of water to a slow drip or trickle. But even with the factory-installed valve on a brand new spa, there will be a small amount of leaking. This is normal. That is why there are additional seals between the liner and the pump and inside the pump, and a cap for when the pump is disconnected.
