ProductDescription : This kit provides the tools, materials and parts necessary for performing maintenance on the F007PF floating pool and spa thermometer. Maintenance is suggested once per year. Included is a wrench for opening the lid as the threads can become contaminated from calcium and other minerals in your pool. Optional annual maintenance tools included are a replacement lock key, replacement gasket and silicone lubricant. The gasket or O-ring should be replaced once per year, or whenever the batteries are changed. It is also recommended that you use silicone lubricant on the threads and O-ring to prevent leakage due to expansion, contraction and imperfections in the plastic.
