ProductDescription : Pinewood Pro’s PRO Bent Graphite-Coated Steering Axle has a slight 1.5 degree bend with an Easy Turn screwdriver slot cut in the head for easy turning without damaging the axle. This bend will steer your wheel left or right to make your car steer straight or steer gently into the rail for a rail rider.


Getting your derby car to steer straight is a critical speed adjustment and it is the most challenging thing to accomplish. We have personally spent hours making adjustments to straight-steering cars for the best performance. If your car does not steer straight, the wheels hit the guide rails, causing your car to lose valuable speed.


The PRO Steering Axle is made from our PRO Super Speed axle with strategic grooves, nickel plating, and a graphite coating.


Usage:
Replace one of your front axles with the PRO Steering Axle oriented so the screwdriver slot is vertical (straight up and down).
Gently turn the axle with a screwdriver to make that wheel steer left or right until your car rolls straight for 6 to 8 feet.
It’s as easy as that! You can also use the steering axle to create a rail rider car.


The PRO Graphite-Coated Steering Axle from Pinewood Pro saves time while getting your car to maximum velocity.


Package contains a single (1) Steering Axle.


Please note: You only need a slight 1.5 degree bend to steer your wheels.
The 1.5 degree bend is a very slight bend that you cannot see with the naked eye.
However, if you roll the bent axle on a flat surface, you will see that it does not roll smoothly compared to an unbent axle.
