The BSA Pinewood Derby polished and Graphite-Coated Steering Axle with 1.5 Degree Bend (Single Axle) is the easiest way to steer your car. Includes Pinewood Pro's Easy Turn screw driver slot cut in the head to make fine steering adjustments without the need for a pliers which could damage the axle. To win races, your car needs to steer straight so you don't lose speed when your car hits the guide rails (unless you are making a rail rider!). To make your car roll straight, replace one of your front axles with the BSA Graphite-Coated Steering Axle . Orient the slot vertically, straight up and down. Then roll your car. If it is steering left or right, your car will lose speed. To make it steer straight, simply insert a screw driver into the Easy Turn slot on your steering axle and turn it a few degrees left or right and roll your car again. Repeat until your car is rolling straight....it's as easy as that!
