The grip's micro-porous and slightly nubby heat sensitive rubberized compound is applied using a special cryogenic process that allows it to morph from very smooth to slightly nubby to very grippy, softer, and stickier. This cryogenic process allows the pick to continue to change from hot to gold and back again without distorting the nubby texture or compromising the overall sound of the pick.
