In 2000 Zassenhaus invented the first continuously adjustable grinding mechanism made from high quality German ceramic. Zassenhaus patented German ceramic mechanism is for peppercorns, sea salt, spices and dried herbs. Simply twist the 6-position bottom dial to adjust the fineness or coarseness of the grind. To fill, simply unscrew the top knob. The "Frankfurt" Mills are made of superior Olive Wood and are 7" tall.
