The Colourfix surface is extremely receptive to all pastels and holds layers and layers of color. Sheets are 20 x 28 and are available in 16 fantastic colors. Colourfix papers are sheets of 140lb acid free hot press paper that has been screen printed with Colourfix primer. The primer is acrylic based; so Colorfix can be used with watercolor acrylic and oil washes before you apply your pastel. It is also excellent for charcoal and pastels.Colourfix Aubergine is a midtone warm gray with a subtle violet cast. It is very close to Colourfix Elephant; which is another midtone warm gray without the violet cast to it.
