The car was purchased by several of the Strasburg's owners. Unlike most of the railroad's equipment, Pequea Valley did make a few trips offline and has been photographed as far away as Denver, Colorado. Pequea Valley was sold in 1984, but wore at least four paint schemes during its time on the Road to Paradise.
