Has one of the dash warning lights or indicators stopped lighting up in your instrument cluster?

It could be that the bulb has burned out. This is especially common on the bulbs that get used often (such as fog light dash indicator, the turn signal dash lights, the high beam dash light, the check engine light, and others). While newer/later model used led which are much less failure prone, the late 80's and 90's models had these small dash bulbs that were known to sometimes burn out. Depending on what indicator bulb it is on your dash, it can either be annoying.... or even dangerous (as you  may not be warned of something important!) Fortunately replacing these small dash light bulbs isn't too complicated. Once you remove the instrument cluster, each bulb simply twists a half-turn in or out.

How do I know if a dash bulb is out?

Telling which dash bulbs have burned out is usually easy to tell when you put your key in the ignition and turn it to position one (without starting). All the dash warning lights are supposed to light up (for a few seconds, at least) giving you  the opportunity to perhaps spot ones that are not lit. If you have to replace one bulb, you may want to pick up a few extras and replace some of them as preventative measure.
