Studio Acrylics Sand Texture Gels are sand-based gels made with transparent acrylic polymers with a high content of naturally colored sand. They are available in Red, Yellow, Black and White. These high viscosity, ready-to-use gels are ideal for creating dimensional granular effects. It is recommended to apply them with a painting knife. On application the gel is of a translucent, whitish color. Once dry the gel becomes completely transparent, leaving only the colored sand showing.They are a part of the Studio Acrylics range of auxiliaries, designed to widen the realm of creative possibilities when painting with Studio Acrylics High Viscosity colors. Studio Acrylics Auxiliaries can also be used in Mixed Media applications to further expand creative possibilities. Available in 250 ml tubes, in 4 colors. Conforms to ASTM D-4236. AP certified.
